Col. Philip Ormand Bradley Sr., 83, of Hot Springs Village passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015. He was born on November 5, 1931 in Sedan, Kansas to the late James O. Bradley and Ruth P. Briggs Bradley. Col. Bradleyserved his country for 24 years as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force in the Korean Conflict and VIetnam War and had the distinction of being a “Top Gun”. In his younger years he received his pilots license at age 14 and was a crop duster in Kansas. He was a Methodist and a member of the Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Johnnie E. Gainer Bradley, two sons: Philip O. Bradley II and wife Trena, Bruce B.Bradley. Four grandchildren Philip O. Bradley III,
Ruth Bradley Gray, Caleb G. Bradley and Jessie Bradley Sanders.Col. Bradley was preceded in death by his parents James and Ruth Bradley, one brother Jim Bradley and one sister Helen Bradley.
